The European University Institute of Law

The European University Institute of Law is a non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entity (NPO) of private law established by the European University. It is a scientific-academic platform of law that cooperates with academic centers on a world scale, organizes scientific conferences, forums, discussion-debates and implements various scientific grant projects in the direction of law.

The institute publishes the international scientific journal "Law and World". The journal has gained international recognition in such significant international databases as: DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Research4Life, ResearchBib, Dimensions, Index Copernicus, EBSCO, ERIH PLUS, HeinOnline, Google Scholar, ROAD. Electronic versions of the journal are preserved in the international digital repositories - Internet Archive and CLOCKSS.

Every year, the institute conducts qualification-raising courses in various fields of law in order to gain new knowledge in this direction. The courses are led by Georgian and foreign experts, Judges, Prosecutors, Attorneys, Professors, Persons who enjoy high authority in the field of law. These courses have been held every spring and autumn since 2016, and this is already a tradition of the institute.
