Call for Abstracts: International Scientific Conference “Law in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”
European University Institute of Law announces a call for abstracts for participation in the International Scientific Conference “Law in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
Conference Objectives
The conference aims to provide an academic and professional forum for discussing contemporary legal challenges and opportunities associated with the development of artificial intelligence, examining the legal boundaries of AI use, and exploring approaches that ensure the protection of fundamental principles of human rights, the rule of law, and fair administration of justice in the context of technological progress.
Conference Topics
All legal research substantially related to the development and use of artificial intelligence.
Conference Participants
Presenters: Professors, researchers, practicing lawyers, and doctoral students are invited to participate as presenters. Presenters will be selected based on an evaluation of the submitted abstracts. Registration
Attendees: Attendance will be open to representatives of academic and professional communities, students, and other individuals interested in the topic, subject to prior registration. Registration
Working Languages
Georgian and English.
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
Abstract Submission Requirements
Abstracts should be 300-500 words and clearly present the research question, objective, main argument, and expected findings.
Publication
Following the conference, the full papers of the presenters will be published in the Institute’s serial publication, “Conference Proceedings 2026.”
Conference Format
The conference will be held in a hybrid format.
Presenters will have the opportunity to deliver their presentations either in person or online.
