Law and World became a signatory to the Berlin Declaration
Law and World became a signatory to the Berlin Declaration (No. 720, 10.01.2022). The Berlin Declaration promotes the Internet as a functional instrument for building a base of scientific knowledge and fostering human development. According to the Declaration, the unique mission of disseminating knowledge can only be partially fulfilled if information is not made widely and openly accessible to society
New opportunities for knowledge dissemination should be supported not only in the classical form, but also through a more open access paradigm via the Internet. The Declaration defines open access as a comprehensive source of human knowledge and cultural heritage approved by the scientific community.
Last year, Law and World also joined the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
