June 11-15, 2018, the second field training of the Strasbourg International Human Rights Institute was held in Tbilisi, organized by the European University Law Institute. The professional training course was about international criminal law. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the head of the office of the International Criminal Court in Georgia - Kaupo Kandi, and the director of the French Institute of Georgia - Jav Yves Lavoir.

Rick Leveson – Leiden University (Netherlands) School of Law
Philippe Cura – University of Geneva
The project aims at strengthening the knowledge of the participants in the domestic and international law of human rights protection, providing them with appropriate legal mechanisms and preventing the violation of fundamental rights.
International humanitarian law, criminal law, and international refugee law courses will help participants manage conflict and post-conflict situations.
