Civil judicial procedure in the USA

October 2-13, 2017, the European University Institute of Law held another professional international training course on the topic: " Civil judicial procedure in the USA ". The course was led by an American professor, civil law expert and lawyer - Thomas Pope.
Lectures were held in English. Students had the opportunity to learn about US civil proceedings in an international legal context, seen through the eyes of an American expert. Consideration of the case through civil proceedings, questioning of the witness, rights of the defense and the opposing party, a study of testimony, role of the judge in the civil process were discussed.
After passing the appropriate testing, international certificates were ceremoniously handed over.
I would like to thank European University for my warm welcome to Tbilisi. For two weeks, I gave lectures at the European University on "Civil judicial procedure in the USA". During this period, I gained immense experience in dealing with students. The students of the European University are very smart and active, it was very pleasant to hold lectures with them. I look forward to keeping in touch with them and following their career adventures in the future.
Georgians are very warm and generous. I will never forget my visit to Tbilisi. We were taken to various wonderful places, including Kakheti. Georgia is a beautiful country, and Georgian wine is the best in the world. I admire Georgian culture, dance, song, folklore, food. Georgia is a great host and we will always remember your beautiful country.
