Intensive Certified Training Course on “Evolution and Synthesis of International Law”
Organized by the European University Institute of Law, a 10-day intensive
certified training course on “Evolution and Synthesis of International Law”
was held at European University from April 20 through May 1, 2026.
The course was led by invited international expert Kieran Shanahan (JD, USA,
North Carolina), who has been recognized among the top 100 lawyers in the
United States.
The program combined both theoretical and practical components and covered
the key stages in the development of international law, contemporary trends,
and comparative analysis of various legal systems.
Within the framework of the course, participants had the opportunity to
explore the functioning of different legal traditions and their practical
peculiarities.
The training process was conducted on a daily basis and integrated lectures
with practical exercises. The course was particularly relevant in the context
of current global processes and ongoing international developments, ensuring
the practical significance of the topics discussed.
Upon completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates of
participation, while those who successfully passed the final assessment
received certificates of achievement.
The program brought together practicing lawyers, law students from various universities across Georgia, and individuals interested in issues of international law.
