Ekaterine Lapachi


Ekaterine Lapachi is a Professor at European University. Her academic field is Private Law. She holds a Ph.D. degree, with her dissertation titled: “The Impact of the Registration of Real Property Rights on the Exercise and Protection of Property Rights".

She has been engaged in teaching and research activities since 2002. She began her academic career at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, where she continues to work to this day. She is also a visiting lecturer at the Caucasus School of Law and the International Black Sea University.

Alongside her academic work, she has served in various positions within the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, including membership in the Commission for Legal Reform and Legal Terminology Development. She has also held senior positions, including Head of the Legal Department of the National Agency of Public Registry, and has worked in other state institutions in managerial roles.

Ekaterine Lapachi is a multiple-time scholarship holder of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). She has passed the judicial qualification examination and is the author of several scientific articles.
