Levan Meskhoradze
In 2006, Levan Meskhoradze obtained MA degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University law faculty and LLM degree from Riga Graduate School of Law. In 2011, he has attended Continuing Professional Education programme at George Maison University.
Levan Meskhoradze is specialized in international and human rights law, rule of law, criminal justice reform and policy, legal training and management. Since 2016, he is the team leader of EU project “Combating All Forms of Discrimination in Georgia”. In 2008-2016 Levan Meskhoradze was Agent of the Government of Georgia to the European Court of Human Rights and UN treaty bodies, Head of Department of the State Representations to the International Human Rights Courts, at Ministry of Justice of Georgia. For many years now, Levan Meskhoradze is a member of various committees and working groups at international organizations, including EU, CoE and OSCE. He is also a international/national consultant of the Council of Europe/American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI)/Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG)/Georgia Bar Association (GBA). He has a teaching experience at universities and law schools since 2007.
